"Artecer" is the most prestigious manufacturer of these Sevillian ceramic plates. These plates are glazed with 24-karat gold. It is known as "dry rope" work, which was brought to Andalusia by the Arabs in the 8th century. This artisanal work has been carried out in Spain ever since.
