Punter

Domingo "Punter" and his sons, has a legacy of 5 generations of ceramists, from Teruel (Aragón), in northern Spain.

What they do is reproduce the Spanish Romanic style ceramic from the XIV century. As you can see, the design is very primitive and they only use black and green, that where the colours used during that period.

This is a very unique type of ceramic; there is nothing like this in the word. You love it, or you don't like it. I really believe it�s very special and a tremendous amount of work goes in to theses pieces. This ceramic is a very dense, so the pieces are surprising heave. The clay in this part of Spain is very dark red, which gives this craftsmanship a very unique look.
